Registration is open to all persons interested in organometallic and inorganic chemistry, including, but not limited to: Chemistry professionals, researchers, academics and students.

All persons intending to attend the Conference must complete a Registration Form. Please read the below registration information before you complete the Registration Form. Should you experience any difficulties please contact the

Student Award Opportunity and Travel Bursary

Thanks to generous sponsorship from the Melbourne Convention Bureau a number of Student Conference Awards are available to support registered students in attending the meeting.

The award will consist of a certificate and a bursary of up to $1000 to assist with the costs of participating in ICOMC 2016. The value of individual awards will be decided by the Organising Committee on the basis of opportunity, need and quality of the submitted abstract. In order to be eligible for Student Conference Award, the applicant must register and attend the meeting, and give an Oral or Poster presentation. The successful applicants will be presented with their awards at the Conference.

Registration Terms and Conditions

Entitlements
The registration fee entitles delegates to the following:

  • Welcome Reception
  • Program Sessions
  • Electronic Program App
  • Trade exhibition admission
  • Morning and afternoon teas

Lunch is not provided to delegates at ICOMC 2016. However here are some suggestions for delegates to have lunch at one of the many eateries and restaurants in close vicinity to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. For more information click here

Student Registration
A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or a holder of an international student card.

Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate. Student registrants are entitled to the following:

  • Electronic Program App
  • Trade exhibition admission
  • Morning and afternoon teas

Please note: A copy of your student identification card must be sent to the Conference Managers via fax or email icomc2016@arinex.com.au

Without your identification, the full registration rate will be charged.

Registration Confirmation
Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will only be confirmed when full payment of fees are received.

Name Badge
Each member of the Conference will receive a name badge upon registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Certificate of Attendance
Certificates of attendance will be emailed upon request only to delegates post Conference.

Private Touring, Private Functions and Hospitality Arrangements
Should you have any specialised group requirements for private touring, private functions, transportation or hospitality services other than those organised for the official program, please contact the Conference Managers who will be pleased to assist with arrangements.

It is requested that you advise the Conference Managers of any private/corporate functions that may be planned outside of the official program.


Payment Options

Credit Card
Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to 'Conference by Arinex Pty Ltd'.

Cheque/Money Order
All payments by cheque incur a A$10 processing fee and will only be accepted until 17 June 2016. Please download the hard copy registration form and mail the completed form with your cheque to the Conference Managers.

Cheques are to be made payable to 'Conference by Arinex Pty Ltd'. Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque. All cheques must be received by 17 June 2016. Cheque payments from overseas must be a bank cheque in Australian Dollars drawn on an Australian Bank. No other currency will be accepted.

Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers.

Registration Fees

  • Cancellations before 29 April 2016 will incur a cancellation fee of A$150.00
  • Cancellations between 29 April 2016 and 5 June 2016 will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of total registration cost.
  • Cancellations after 5 June 2016 will receive no refund.

Accommodation
A minimum of one night's deposit must be paid or credit card details given at the time of booking to guarantee reservation. One night's deposit is non-refundable at 16 June 2016.

Social
Payments are non-refundable at 17 June 2016.

Tours
Payments are non-refundable at 17 June 2016.

Disclaimer

Program
The program is correct at the time of publishing. The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

Photography
The Conference Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.
